NO SHOWER EVER ALLERT

People including keepers, breeders and some veterinarians, come from time to time with an idea, which they then even dare to recommend to shower or soak or directly mist the chameleons with pressurized water!!!

NEVER EVER DO IT!!!

It is a nonsense with no positive effect

It causes absolutely unjustified stress

It can cause heat stress

It can harm the chameleon, e.g. eyes

It qualifies as animal torture (infliction of unnecessary suffering or distress on animals for any reason).
