CHAMELEON EMBRYO

29/04/2024

A far developed chameleon embryo, Furcifer pardalis, Nosy Be local form, about 4-6 weeks prior to clutch.

Note the extremely large eyeballs with heavy melanin protection and already fully developed body and extremities with blood vessels and liver visible clearly from the internal structures.

(The embryo was taken out of an egg, ruptured while growing because of irregularity of the development of the egg shell)
