Lime or Lemon? Baby of Furcifer bifidus
14/07/2026

Furcifer bifidus shows sexual differences early in life: males develop reduced horns, while females never form horns. At night the species displays a two‑sided color pattern, with the moonlit or flashlight‑lit flank turning shiny green and the shaded flank bright yellow. In general, Furcifer bifidus is one of Madagascar's larger chameleons, notable for the double flattened rostral process in adult males.
