His chameleon Pascal, just over a year old, enjoys spending sunny days on a tree outside the house. He always wandered a bit but never left. Until one evening — he was gone. Panic followed. Days of searching, scanning every branch, suspecting he had climbed a massive cherry tree nearby.

Riccardo contacted Peter, who suggested a powerful spotlight. So he bought a 13,000‑lumen beast of a lamp. And within ten minutes of searching, after six days of heat, rain, and wind, Pascal appeared — unharmed, calm, and hungry for cockroaches.

Now Pascal is back in his enclosure. And Riccardo wonders: after such a wild adventure, will he find captivity a little boring?
